Finding Help

There's a few ways you can get help with the 17 Activities for MMSCL 2.0.

(1) Take a look at the blogs that other staff participants have put up on the staff participants page, especially those marked with a + sign (those are mentors - you can even leave comments for them on their blog and they'll answer your questions).

(2) Team up with other people in your department (or another department) to work together. Each person must still log their own activities, but working through the activities with another person is often helpful.

(3) Send an email to communitylibrary2 @gmail.com

Not receiving credit for your activities?

If you notice that you did not receive credit/coupons for all of your activities, please check to make sure:

• You are using your blog to track your progress. After you complete each activity you should be returning to the blog you create in Activity #3 to record your thoughts and feelings on that activity. Check out this great blog from one of our staff members for an example.

• That you have a link on the staff page leading to your blog posting for that activity. Click Update. (The link is not necessary for Activity #1 or #2 - for those, simply select the activity from the drop down box and click Update.) If this link isn't included we can't find your blog or give you credit!

• That you checked off the "done" check box on the staff page after selecting the activity and adding the link to your blog (if you don't check it off, the task will not display for approval). Click Update.

• That your blog posting includes all the necessary elements described in the "Try It Out!" section of the activity. (ex. Your Twitter activity (#4) should link to your blog where you described what you thought of Twitter and what comment you posted on the MMSCL twitter account)
